Behaviour Change

Communications with a twist.

Much of what businesses and organisations do is about changing behaviour.

From restoring streams to reducing waste and building community resilience to being prepared for an earthquake much public sector and business communication is about changing behaviour.  That’s our speciality – we’ve been doing it for over a decade in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Most agencies will offer you a solution which best fits what they offer.  An advertising agency will suggest an advertising campaign, a PR company will suggest a PR campaign, a digital agency will suggest a purely digital online campaign.  You get the picture.

Our point of difference is that we look at your issue, your audience and your objectives.  We will develop and deliver the solution that best delivers the results you want.

We are the only New Zealand agency with a focus on behaviour change.  Our specialty is community partnership behaviour change – engaging with communities and resourcing them to deliver long term sustainable solutions.  We have invested heavily in building our skills and experience through research, attendance at international conferences and professional development.

For a number of years we have been heavily involved in Project Twin Streams, an environmental programme in West Auckland – a council/community project restoring 56kms of streambanks.  Our unique experience in social marketing and integrated communications has contributed greatly to the project’s strategic success.

We want to lift the bar and broaden the thinking on behaviour change.   To that end, building capacity within the organisations we work with through training and up-skilling is a key part of what we offer.

We are the only Australasian agency to offer community-focused behaviour change masterclasses in New Zealand and Australia.  We also develop and deliver topic- specific sessions for organisations to run in-house.

We were the first Australasian agency to offer behaviour change/social marketing training in New Zealand.  Our one-day courses kicked off in 2007.  Since then we have delivered community-focused social marketing training to thousands of people from a range of backgrounds in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.  Recent in-house workshops include Auckland Council, Hawkes Bay Regional Council and DoC.
